May 2025 Recipient: Nourishing Hope
Nourishing Hope, formerly Lakeview Pantry, is one of Chicago’s largest and longest-operating hunger relief organizations. In the past year, we provided over 200,000 food, mental health, and social services to our neighbors across Chicago. We provide nutritious groceries through our two in-person pantries, a home delivery program for older adults, and Chicago’s only online food pantry service called The Online Market. Knowing that food insecurity does not exist in a vacuum, Nourishing Hope provides comprehensive and completely free social and mental health services. Every $1 donated to Nourishing Hope provides the equivalent of 3 meals to our neighbors.
