Our Team
Meet Our Board of Directors

Jill Liska
President
Growing up in a farming community in Wisconsin, Jill is interested in bringing the community access to good, local food options. After waiting 10 years for the co-op to become a reality, Jill is dedicated to making it a success. She brings experience as a corporate attorney to the board and leads the Evaluation Committee. She lives in Rogers Park with her family, many pets, and beehives!

Stephen Johnson
Treasurer
Stephen retired to Chicago in 2011 following careers in academia, public accounting, and manufacturing to live within 1/2 mile of his two sons and their families. He brings to the board experience in financial and managerial accounting, corporate governance, and strategic planning.

Michelle Oxman
Secretary
Before retiring, she worked in litigation supporting a case against manufacturers and users of forever chemicals. In her spare time, she knits, reads, participates in her congregation and volunteers with Indivisible, in the hope that we can save democracy. Meanwhile, she wants to use Wild Onion Market co-op to create at least a piece of the world we want to see.

Brent works as a freelance creative marketer as well as a professional voiceover artist, lending his voice to national and global brands. He’s also a regular on-air presence for Chicago PBS live membership drives.

Joseph Amrhein
Board Member
Originally from Boston, Joseph recently earned a Masters of Public Policy in Nonprofit Management from the Hubert H. Humphrey School of Public Affairs in Minneapolis.
