Wild Onion Market is proud to give back to the community by allowing customers to round up their purchases to the nearest dollar amount. The monthly Change for Change total is then donated directly to a non-profit chosen by our Community Engagement committee.
September 2026 Recipient: Aville Grows
Aville Grows is Andersonville’s fledgling community garden offering free growing and food-centric workshops and community engagement events. They are building a community gathering space and a parkway food forest in Andersonville for all their neighors, including the Rogers Park community.
Located in the heart of the Andersonville, this shared green space provides residents with the opportunity to grow their own food, learn about urban gardening, and participate in the stewardship of a more resilient and equitable local food system.
Aville Grows will use the funds to offset material costs for free workshops in the community and increase their reach.
