Happy Anniversary!
Today is our 1-year anniversary and what a year it has been! What started as an idea in a living room by a handful of friends has turned into a vibrant and diverse grocery store that now has 2,500 owners.

Fully Stock on Tree Range Chicken!
Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts, Thighs, Drumsticks, and Wings have all arrived at the store and are in our frozen section. |
| We are incredibly excited to be the first grocery store in Chicago to carry this truly one of a kind brand from Minnesota. Tree-Range farmers focus on maintaining a “jungle-like” habitat that honors the true natural environment of chickens. |
| Their slow growth chickens are raised on high quality feed in forested pastures where they can forage on plants, sprouted grain, and bugs. The chicken is also Certified Organic. |
UNFI Supply Chain Disruption
Recently our largest supplier, UNFI, was hit with an unfortunate cyber-attack. This unexpected incident took all of their critical ordering and receiving systems offline, which has regrettably left us – and their other 30,000 grocery store customers – unable to place orders in numerous important product categories.
Fortunately, because we operate as a cooperative with a larger and more diversified set of local and regional suppliers, we are not as highly impacted by these disruptions as many other grocery stores. Over the next week, you will see signs throughout our store where we are having stocking delays. Please be patient with us during this supply chain hiccup. Thanks! |
