Kribi Coffee Air Roastery, one of our first vendors, is disrupting traditional coffee practices and bringing wealth back to hardworking farmers. In 2019, Kribi founder, Jacques, alongside his son Jeremiah and master roaster, Amir Semsarieh, opened Kribi Coffee’s first café in Forest Park, Illinois. The first of many, this café was built to demonstrate the unique and powerful taste of air-roasted coffee by putting it directly into people’s hands. With guidance from Starbucks co-founder Zev Siegl, Kribi Coffee reconnected with Jacques’s roots by sourcing its flagship Mt. Oku coffee directly from Cameroon.
Today, Kribi Coffee has expanded its mission globally. The company operates an 11-acre farm in Cameroon and partners with over 600 coffee farmers worldwide, collectively harvesting 500,000 pounds of green coffee beans annually.
