Are you an Owner? Consider running for a Board of Director position. Why? Because it’s exciting, satisfying, and at times challenging – but always about learning and growing as we represent Owners’ ideas and work around this focus as we state in the Board application:
- How can Wild Onion Market benefit and empower the community?
- What is the significance of the co-operative economy?
- How can Wild Onion Market promote development of a healthy food system through work with farmers, producers, and communities?
Collaborate with others as we brainstorm ideas related to a host of ways to get our market open! Like… fundraising, mounting events, marketing and cross-pollinating, grant-writing, partnering with community organizations, or work on our overall communications through the website and other vehicles. We welcome **your** ideas! Directors put in about 15 – 20 hours a month.
