Sweet Cherries

A quintessential flavor of summer with a rich, intense sweetness and slight tangy aftertaste. |

Fresh Side Pork
The same cut of meat as bacon without the added smoking or curing. It can be cooked in a variety of ways including in a skillet, oven baked, or on the grill. Fresh Side Pork is unseasoned and will need plenty of salt! Sold frozen.

The pork comes from heritage breed pigs that are raised on pasture by Tim Roth of Living Light Farms in Paxton, IL.

Tim is also the driver for our local produce truck, which gives us a chance to catch up with him every Wednesday and hear how things are going on his farm.

You may have noticed a lot of empty shelves over the past two weeks. That’s because UNFI, our main supplier, was hit with a cyber-attack. This not only affected Wild Onion, but the other 30,000 grocery stores they supply around the country as well. Thankfully, the crisis is over and nearly everything has been restocked! |
