Wild Onion Market doesn’t have corporate sponsors, or powerful financial backers. We’ll remain independent because we’re literally owned by our community. The most impactful contribution that you can make is to join.

• Your Ownership share is for your entire household and costs $250 for a lifetime Ownership.
• You will be eligible to vote in the co-op’s Annual Election, where a Board of Directors is selected by Owners and other important matters are brought for a vote.
• You’ll be part of a vibrant store, where you can make suggestions about what you want to see stocked.
• In profitable years, the co-op can pay dividends to Owners. 

We’re building this together – one Owner at a time. This is our moment, our chance to have a voice and a vote. We opened a store right here that’s for us and by us. We can own a piece of our community.

Wild Onion Market Scholarships

Scholarship funds are provided by Owners and local businesses who want to ensure greater access to a cooperative vision for our community. Scholarships are available to anyone who wishes to apply* and do not require proof of any government or public assistance. The application is just a few questions long and aims to learn more about you, rather than prove need. In our vision there is room for everyone at the table.

HOW to apply – Simply click on the form below, fill out and submit. A Board member will contact you by email as soon as possible with next steps.

WHAT to expect – The Scholarship fund provides $150 toward your share. The remaining balance of $100 can be paid in installments as low as $10/month. Due to constraints with our online payment processor, members of our Board will work with you to make payment by check. Your information will be kept confidential and not shared publicly.
