Live Like Roo

In honor of pets facing cancer diagnoses, we’re hand-tying cozy blankets with nonprofit organization Live Like Roo. Inspired by Roo, a beloved dog whose joyful spirit and unconditional love continued after being diagnosed with bone cancer, and created in his honor, the nonprofit supports families with pets diagnosed with cancer by providing both financial and emotional assistance, encouraging others to “live like Roo” with kindness, resilience, and heart.

Join our community to make soft fleece blankets for sick dogs undergoing cancer treatment or other sicknesses. Just like Roo’s comforting presence, each blanket is a symbol of warmth, love, and the reminder that no family faces their journey alone and that we should all #LiveLikeRoo. All materials are provided for the event. Stop by Wild Onion Market anytime between 11am to 3pm to participate.
