Soy Sauce + Coffee = Tiramisu

| What do ice cream, chicken adobo, Blood Mary drinks, tiramisu, mac n’ cheese, and deviled eggs have in common? They’re all leveled up with—you probably didn’t guess it—soy sauce. Yup. The next new secret ingredient in all your dishes will be this Korean soy sauce, which not only adds a layer of rich tanginess but reduces the need for salt and sugar in lots of recipes!
We chatted with SANC Soy Sauce’s Mike Segawa about growing up in a Filipino-Japanese household and now using Korean soy sauce to enrich his favorite Filipino dishes. Plus…we got to taste test them. Wild Onion approved! |
