Family Event This Weekend!

Since the very first Earth Day in 1970, April 22 has been a day to recognize the importance of our planet and to advocate for, rally around, and spread awareness for ways to caretake our global home. At our Kids’ Earth Day Event, the whole family is welcome to learn about sustainability and put skills to practice by making reusable bags, planting seeds, and more!

Fresh Greens, Local Meat & Maple Syrup!

It’s green outside, it’s green inside, it’s green on your dinner plate! We’ve got some delightfully crisp and fresh greens from Lake Breeze Organics—a certified organic farm in Benton Harbor, MI—and Gray Farms, a Watseka, IL-based farm that centers organic practices. This week, they’ve brought butter lettuce, frisée, rainbow chard, purple kale, tatsoi, arugala, and spinach to our shelves and your table!

We love everything from Run-A-Way Buckers, including the ground pork and beef we’ve just restocked, because of their focus on sustainable, ethical, and responsibly farm-raised livestock practices.

Our favorite rural Wisconsin-based maple syrup source is back! For multiple generations and since 1945, Pittman Maple Farms has been serving up only the very best Grade A maple syrup purified with wood-fired heat that makes for its lovely, unique flavor.
